What a fabulous time we had on Wednesday, June 14, as MetroEast celebrated the 1000th episode of our flagship program, Community Hotline. CEO Marty Jones pulled out all the stops to make this an event to remember with delicious hors d’ouevres, drinks, and even a cake featuring the face of Co-Producer/Host Monica Weitzel!
MetroEast will be closed Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 due to inclement weather conditions. We will reopen Thursday, Jan. 7 at 9am.
2015 was a busy, busy year for MetroEast as we worked with local youth and partnered with non-profit organizations, government entities and the community at large. In our efforts to better represent our neighbors in East County we have also expanded our outreach to the Spanish-speaking community. If you've never set foot in our amazing studio in Gresham, we invite you to do so in 2016.

Festival of Nations
Summer 2017 is turning out to be one of the hottest on record for Oregonians. At MetroEast we love our volunteers, community partners and clients and want you to stay healthy. So stay hydrated and keep cool! This is especially important for babies, children, the elderly and infirm. And don't forget about your pets!
The charming town of Troutdale is celebrating the 45th anniversary of their annual event, Summerfest. MetroEast will once again be videotaping the parade as it winds it's way down the center of town. The Grand Marshall of this year's parade is Sara Crouch, recent Reynolds High graduate and Troutdale's Youth of the Year!
